Roxbury Arts Group Position: Operations Manager

Location: Roxbury, NY

Work Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours/week

Salary: $17-19/hour, based on experience

The Roxbury Arts Group, a non-profit, community-minded, multidisciplinary arts organization, is seeking an Operations Manager. This is a newly created position that will allow our organization to expand and maximize our operational and develop capacity, furthering our ability to meet our mission to make the arts an integral part of life in the rural communities that we serve. Responsibilities:

Finance • Receive and process financial transactions, prepare deposits, including proper accounting codes and preparation of all related documentation. • Assist with review and dissemination of financial reports. • Assist in preparation of the annual organization budget in consultation with the Executive Director.

Development • Manage and track individual and corporate donors using donor management software. • Coordinate and assist in the execution of Roxbury Arts Group fundraising initiatives Program • Provide additional programmatic support as requested.

Qualifications • Proven experience as operations manager or relevant role • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development • An interest in the arts and their impact on small communities is a plus.
